My multisource composite began as an assignment that found inspiration from a book that I was reading called "WHAT I KNOW NOW Letters to my younger self". From that point I scanned in an ornate frame from my collection and filled it by scanning and cropping an old photograph of myself almost 30 years younger. I then photographed my desk with a letter I wrote to myself. Oooh it was quite a look at my life so far.

Very ingenious work Mardi. The framing of the desk and all the included elements make a very powerful image. I like this a lot.
Your concept and the execution is very strong, Mardi. fantastic job realizing a very specific idea and using your tools appropriately.
